Unless clearly required by applicable law or an order of a court of competent jurisdiction, District personnel are prohibited from complying with requests from parents/guardians or others to withhold life-sustaining emergency care from any student while under District supervision or control, except as provided in an individualized resuscitation plan approved by a court of competent jurisdiction.

The Superintendent or designee will develop administrative guidelines for considering requests for Do Not Resuscitate orders and individualized resuscitation plans.
